The worlds are infinite.
Infinite possibilities, combinations, permutations… endless. If it has been conceived of happening, or might have happened, it has happened.
Somewhere.
The only thing that limits what occurs are the rules of the world. But since the worlds are limitless, occurrence knows no boundaries.
On one world, a shadowy League was gathered during the twilight of the nineteenth century- a group boasting powers unlike any group otherwise in existence at the time. Their coordinator claimed to use them for good, but tried to subvert that power for his own diabolical ends. It was only with great sacrifice that they defeated him.
But on another world, that has not happened. History has not yet shed its hard, cold light; has not yet burned away the shadows to uncover the truth. Events are murky, hidden in a fog.
Secrets have yet to be revealed.
Where there is dark, there is light. Those who stand for justice are matched by those who stand for evil- sometimes closer than they know.
The time: The late 1800s.
The place: London.
The people: Men and women, touched by truth… and shadows.

In its most simple form, we are an alternate League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. As we gather people, we will develop our group, our villains, and our plots. Any and all suggestions are welcome!
New players (those who joined after January 2009) please note:
TS originated in October of 2008, but due to lack of participation and limited numbers of players, it peetered to a halt. Now, we are re-vamping and throwing our doors wide open to newcomers! All threads from before the re-boot are located in the Old Archives. However, only threads listed in the 'Flashback' section will be counted as 'canon' now. Those threads will affect the veteran characters only, and for all other intents and purposes, we are starting from scratch. Welcome aboard!
